The Dpcm yesterday 10/04/2020 has officially given the possibility to re-open warehouses for non-essential production activities.
The article of the dpcm reads: “For suspended production activities, after communication to the Prefect, access to company staff premises employee or third party delegated to carry out supervisory activities, conservation and maintenance activities, payment management as well as cleaning and sanitizing activities. It is allowed, subject to communication to the Prefect, the shipment to third parties of goods lying in the warehouse as well as the reception of goods and supplies in the warehouse “.
In summary, all Italian national logistics can resume our business. This opening allows to resume the deliveries and the transport of purchased goods or produced by March 22nd. It is clearly a healthy breath of oxygen for the sector.
Problems related to the congestion of Italian logistics centers and transit hubs will be resolved.
As a result, when the lockdown ends, businesses can immediately be up and running and resume production. In existence, the problem remains, not a little, of increasing the operational protection of the express couriers.
